People and Passing Moments
Strangers, friends, and the two seconds it takes to make a photograph.
2024 — OngoingHyderabad, India
I am interested in the brief moments when someone forgets they are being seen. This is an ongoing study of people passing through ordinary light — made without direction, usually from close enough to be noticed afterwards.
Most of these photographs took less than three seconds. The waiting for them took months.
With people, film forgives less and means more. One frame, and the moment either holds or it is gone.
